Third time has to be the charm.

Man, I read this incredible story about the investigation that led to Rush Propst being fired from another head coaching job, and my first thought was simply which SEC program would hire him as a staff analyst.

It just means more, bitchez.

    Sadly, you may be correct.

How do you get that deep in taxes owed? I’m guessing he has endorsements, but he’s W-2, right? Guess he just didn’t file or pay. That should show any prospective employer what they would be getting.

So, having a large delinquent tax bill disqualifies you from being a HS football coach, which seem ok because it shows a certain lack of responsibility, if not outright dishonesty. I guess now all Propst can do is run for Governor.

Well they hired him with baggage and low morals. After the building and field got up graded now we need to make a stand on our ethics.

This. And someone should hit the school board right between the eyes with that tidbit of hypocrisy.

Most of that board that hired him is still there. Tar and feather them I say. I didn’t like the hire, and I don’t like the fire either.

But its not like Colquitt sets the bar on education, and like Howell said it starts at the top. So piss on all of em. I’m kinda torn about saying that too because I was friends with his son.

Surprised that the school system hired him after what had happened at Hoover. Guess they just buried their heads in the sand….dude has some serious issues.

Given the litany of issues he seems to have (some of which, taken alone, are minor), I wouldn’t touch him with a 10 foot pole if I were a coach hiring. He’s just not going to make “the difference.” He’s just going to get your program busted for something petty or stupid and open Pandora’s box.

Sadly, the number of people defending him in the comments to that article tell me he will get hired somewhere else sooner rather than later. For every dumb mistake, there’s at least one person not willing to learn from it.

How do you check out of a hotel without paying the bill these days? They always get a CC upon check in or when you reserve…maybe card was declined on Sunday…

Some of the termination issues are vague as hell. I haven’t researched his past but if some South Georgia families wanted him gone I can see how this could play out.

I don’t know him but I know some people who do and they all say he’s as crazy as a rainbow trout in a carwash.

At least he doesn’t have a secret family this time, at least not one that we know of…

Another example of the continuing negative influence of Urban Meyer on the coaching profession. Some of these people think, like Dickhead, they can get away with anything.

He’s as dirty as Freeze. Sankey will probably black ball him.

I have family in Alabama that was asked to testify against him and didn’t. He is a bigger scumbag than Freeze or Corch.

Next stop for Rush Probst…HC at a private HS. There are plenty that will hire him.

My understanding from my Moultrie people is the old “we’re hiring a football coach not a preacher” phrase was actually uttered at a school board meeting.

Add up all the details, and he sounds like someone who has fallen into substance abuse. The pill thing is just bizarre. Who the hell carries Aleve onto the field in their pockets?

The only pills that coaches or managers gave us was salt pills after practice for cramping and aspirin if you got your bell rung!!
