Havoc Rate is the new QBR.

Just sayin’.

Speaking of QBR, where’s the Matt Landers’ chatter?  His destroyed the other quarterbacks’ yesterday.

It was just a scrimmage and was actually made very silly for tv, but according to the rules of play, Mathis was down by contact. The DB touched him around the 4. But yeah Landers QBR is nice. Matt L needs to be more aggressive at receiver. The best defense for a jump ball is an aggressive offense.

Landers even cheated by dropping several easy catches just to sabotage the QBR for Fields, Bennett and Mathis. At 6’5″ he has already shown he can take the top off of the defense. If Cortez can teach him how to told on to the ball, the kid is going to be a serious weapon.

Pretty powerful when a kid can sabotage the QBR for a qb not even playing at the same school. Ohio State will be happy to know Landers was part of the reason Fields wasn’t great at their Spring game.

Shit… Good catch. I meant Fromm. I have no idea why I wrote Fields other than him being mentioned in an article I was reading before this one.

      Umm…

      Catch? You forget yourself, sir.

      He is an exterior blocker.

Mathis was much faster and ultimately better than I had hoped. So much potential there.

Havoc rate aside, our defense has depth we haven’t seen since, well I don’t know when. Damn we’re going to be good.

Only because he couldn’t throw it to himself. 😉

Looked pretty clear to me why Matt Landers hasn’t seen the field to this point … he doesn’t appear to be a gamer. Wish the kid well … Some just don’t shine when the lights come on.
