Urnge uglies (or the lack thereof)

You may think the Georgia offensive line situation during the Richt era was something of a wasteland, but it wasn’t anywhere close to this.

Heckuva job, Boochie.  Add to that a decent possibility that Pruitt will be starting true freshmen at both offensive tackle positions ($$) and it’s hard to see Jim Chaney repeating the results he got in Athens last season.

Not sure utk can afford an injury at ANY position, but an OL injury would be devastating. I’m sure Will Friend has a plan.

Of course, if there’s an opposing D player who’s having a good day they can count on Chaney to call plays that maximize the player’s opportunities to be disruptive. See Vandy’s Cunningham, Bama’s Payne, fu’s Zuniga, Mizzou’s Beckner, etc.

Sure could see him repeating the results he got in Athens in 2016, though.

Four offensive coordinators in four years is not good for recruiting relationships.

Thank you, Senator for posting this. It gives joy to my cold, black, heart to all things urnge! After seeing the whole G Day game, (after ESPN showed it again last night) I can’t wait for the Dawgs to runover the vowels and watch LuLu and Junior’s triple chins drop to the cesspool floor of kneeland.

I dislike TN with the biggest haters out there but I feel for that terrific freshman they had last season that is on medical leave. Hope he finds a solution and returns.

UGA is ahead of TN in so many areas, including HC. I remember them laughing at us for the 20 year drought between SEC titles; they may want to do a little math and check the mirror. And they aren’t within 5 years of changing that trend regardless of what they have, or will get through recruiting. They may be the only program who cares about CFB and doesn’t hate the damn portal BS.

In the two years before that five year span, Butches first two years in the program, they had 3 OL drafted in the first 5 rounds including a 1st rounder. Those guys had been recruited and coached by one Sam Pittman though.

Oh, and I would like to remind everyone that Butch had the opportunity to keep Pittman on staff but declined. He brought Don Mahoney along with him from Cincinnati instead.
