Fun times in Florida

Bud Elliott has the news.

When Georgia Tech — Georgia Tech! — pulls a four-star out of Florida, yeah, I’d say that sense of duty is lacking.

I wonder if somebody’s gonna clue in Mike Bianchi.

Wow, where was this “duty” kids had to stay in-state when Tennessee, Auburn and Florida were eating our lunch in the 90s…

Goff always had solid talent. Spurrier often cracked about what happen with all that Georgia High School talent after it gets to Athens. Yes it was a gripe then when top prospects went else where and the excuse was always given that Atlanta was a transplant city and the South Georgia power houses were closer to FSU, Auburn, and UF.

The Florida schools are facing the same problem of a transplant population in addition to their facilities falling behind Bama, UGA, and Clemson. Miami had an advantage when only Miami Coaches went into the bad neighbor hoods but that has changed.

Baghdad Bianchi is calmly reassuring everyone that Florida is impregnable, the state of the program is fantastic, and a swift, terrible defeat awaits all who are foolish enough to challenge Slingblade Danny. GATOR AKBAR, Y’ALL. /sarc

  7. Dopey Dan just wants to show everyone he can win with as few blue chips as possible.

Could it be that his success at FU the first time was due to Corch’s recruiting, the GPOOE and an offensive scheme that was gimmicky at the time?

Timmy Tears isn’t walking through the door in Gainesville. Dopey has to identify and recruit players now. Everyone runs some form of zone read option with the spread now.

I’m more surprised that there are currently only two five-star commits in the state of Florida, and Clemson has both of them.

If this continues, Fl will dig a canal from coast to coast and cut those northern states from their land bridge access….wha… they already have?

It’s like looking into a mirror that shows you your reflection from 10 years ago.
