The future’s so bright, I gotta wear bi-focals.

Trust me, when you’ve got to parse Bill Connelly’s S&P+ numbers this deeply in search of a fifth win, it’s gonna be a long year.

  1. Tech is going to be 1-11 and that 1 (The Citadel) may be in question (see Nicholls State 2016).

Tech is going to have to depend on its defense to keep them in games while Jeoff tries to figure out what he has on offense. The talent level on offense is bad because of the transition. The talent level on defense is atrocious due to recruiting failure because players didn’t want to be cut for 4 years.

Tech could outscore people who couldn’t deal with the TO. They could try to play keep away from those teams who were superior on talent to pull an upset.

It’s going to be a long season in the 404 … and November is coming. Kirby probably knows Jeoff could become a threat for in-state talent. He is going to look to let people know the actors may have changed but the plot isn’t going to.

Unlimited refills in the Benz is about the best thing Yech’s 2019 season has going for it. Granted, I do love the unlimited refills.

I thought cheaters might be used rather than bifocals.

I get all my GT news here….and that’s too much.

“Collins is recruiting at a higher level than Johnson.”

Yeah but, how much effort did that really take?

I know Collins is doing a fairly decent job considering it’s Tech but, just about anyone could have upped their recruiting game just by getting out of bed every day.

  6. “Collins has 13 commitments for the 2020 recruiting class. As of now, that group ranks fifth in the ACC and 14th nationally, according to 247Sports. If that recruiting ranking holds, it would be Tech’s highest since 2007.”

I’ll be shocked if they end up top 30, much less 13th, lol
