“It ain’t going to be easy, just like middle school.”

I’d make fun of Tennessee getting a verbal from a 14-year old, except I notice he’s got an offer from Georgia, too.

Instead, I’ll settle for noting once again that this is a perfect case for Andy Staples’ “it’s binding when both sides agree” scholarship proposal.

I saw that article earlier this morning but missed that last treasure at the end.

I laughed when I read that. Laughed again. Thought about it for 30 more seconds and laughed some more. Still laughing as I type.

Out of the mouths of babes….

After reading it a couple of times, I’m inclined to think what he’s trying to say is that the jump to high school ball is not going to be as easy as middle school ball was for him. Which makes sense, because if he’s already been identified as being elite for his age, he probably dominated at the middle school level and found it fairly easy to do so.

I sure hope UT is counting on him. Will make it sweet when he flips.

Don’t make fun of them because they offered. Offers don’t mean much nowadays. Make fun of them because they actually took the commitment. Absolutely zero chance that offer is commitable from any other legit school (including Georgia).
