    The zero 5* thing is really getting to them. As it should. It’s Sideshow’s world now, and Gator fans are just living in it.

    The 20 to 0 thing should scare the hell out of them, but instead they just respond that Kirby can’t coach or develop … blah, blah, blah.

    When Spurrier made his comment about recruiting, it was made knowing he had great players. Dopey Dan doesn’t get it that his “coaching ability” can’t overcome superior depth.

      Spurrier also backed up his taunts on the field. Spurrier lived rent free in our heads.

        No doubt … he also was willing to give credit when credit was due.

        “They just clobbered us.”
        “Georgia is just better than us.”

        He backed everything up, but then again, he knew he had better players than us from about 1994 on. He was superior to Goff and Donnan.

    This has been the most fun in an offseason I’ve had in a LONG time. I am not traditionally vindictive but Dan needed to humble himself. Watching Alligator Alley melt and other UF fans interact with that list on another board has been sublime. That list will be updated over the offseason. I expect another melt if Rosemy chooses the good guys after an official visit to UF.

    I really do wonder if Kirby is twisting the knife with the timing of some of the commitments. I really love his passion for UGA and hate for all things gator.

    We may never have had THAT bad a spring, but we’ve lived through our share of really crappy off seasons and springs. As Spurrier also famously said, he liked playing us early because we always had three or four of our best players suspended. He was telling the truth. So, let’s not get too happy to kick another program while they’re down. I hate Florida too. Probably more than the rest of you because I went to UGA pre-Spurrier. Let’s allow our players to do the talking on the field.

      That’s the kind of thinking that led to most of the losses. Me, I’d rather kick til my foot falls off. Fortunately, I believe Kirby is of like mind.

    Which one of our posters placed this before us a week or so ago? I just want that poster to get credit, although, of course, it’s even better when posted by a gator on their venue.

    Think I’ll mosey on over to the waterhole for a libation today. There ought to be a thirsty gator or two around to discuss this horror. Seriously! You don’t think I would stoop so low as to talk snark to gators that don’t comprehend it that way, do you?

    My only regret is that the SEC message board I used to post at years ago during the Urban Meyer years is pretty much defunct nowadays and I have no recourse to go mercilessly abuse the one gator admin who was insufferable during those times. There is a mountain of dog shit with his nose’s name on it, and it’s going to go undisturbed I fear.
