Georgia is on a cumulative 34-game winning streak against its entire slate of 2019 regular season opponents.
GEORGIA: 34-0
2019 schedule: at Vanderbilt, FCS Murray State, Arkansas State, Notre Dame, at Tennessee, South Carolina, Kentucky, vs. Florida (at Jacksonville, Fla.), Missouri, at Auburn, Texas A&M and at Georgia Tech.
Georgia has won two-straight games vs. Vanderbilt, Arkansas State, Notre Dame, Tennessee, Florida, Auburn, Texas A&M and Georgia Tech. It’s won four-straight over South Carolina, five-straight vs. Missouri and nine-straight vs. Kentucky.
Not only have the Bulldogs never lost to Arkansas State or Notre Dame, they’ve never fallen to a current Independent or Sun Belt member. The last time they lost to Texas A&M was 65 years ago, in 1954.
The most recent loss to a 2019 foe came two years ago, when then-No. 2 Georgia traveled to No. 10 Auburn and lost, 40-17. It managed to beat the same Tiger team three weeks later, 28-7, in the 2017 SEC title game.
Not too shabby, Dawgs.
34?
I like that number

Don’t you worry, the usual turds on this site predicting a loss on Tuesday so they look like a genius in defeat on Saturday will come up with their reasons we’ll go 0-12 soon enough.

This is why I can be patient for Kirby to bring home the national title.

It is time for UGA to build the long winning streaks UT, and FU had against Vandy and UK.

I did not like how close UF got to catching us on the all-time series during their run. I desire a long streak against them to lengthen the gap. I don’t won’t to be living if they should ever catch us…and I don’t won’t to die too soon.

If I’m not mistaken, the only team we have a losing all-time record against is Tennessee, and not by much.

Good news — you are mistaken. The all-time series is tied 23-23-2.

Are we allowed to throw out the 90s like Tennessee has thrown out all history since the 90s?

What about Bama?

In the SEC UGA has a winning record over everyone but:
TN which is tied
LSU 13-17-1
A&M 2-3-0 all prior to joining the SEC
Bama 25-40-4

Yeesh, that Bama stat line is ugly.

On the bright side, we’re not alone in having a lop-sided record vs Bama.
A&M will square itself eventually. All of their wins are from the ’50s.
LSU hurts, I’ll admit.
Tennessee is about to get ugly in a good way.

Need to include Bama (not that it helps but I “think” we have the best % against them of any SEC team).
Also for some reason I am thinking we have a losing record against LSU, but we either tied or went ahead in the UT series last year.
Tied for second (nobody will catch Bama) in number of SEC titles with UT.

Come on Senator, you have to talk about this…
National media laughs at Georgia fans who say they’d take a gunshot to the thigh for a national title
Connor Riley
@kconnorriley
The SEC likes to say that when it comes to college football in the conference, “It just means more.” But when does college football mean too much? Because that situation came up on Tuesday morning.
960 The Ref, a sports radio station located in Athens, Ga., asked a hypothetical question regarding Georgia football on Tuesday morning. “Would you take a NON LETHAL gunshot to the thigh in exchange for a UGA Football National Championship?”
Great question….. It seems that many of the replies were “YES”
(I would love it, but not up to taking a bullet”

Talk about a worthless, cherry-picked stat.

Not sure why… for one thing, it’s a clear indication of UGA’s recent dominance in the East.

Fake juice. All that is ancient history and means nothing once the season starts.
