As far as Arkansas and Tennessee go, simply being in the bowl discussion would be a refreshing change of pace, so I don’t think they’ll mind if somebody brings it up.

    Tennessee gets UAB after a stretch of Georgia, Mississippi State, @Alabama, and South Carolina. That is four very physical games in a row. That is a trap game if I have ever seen one. I would be so happy if Bill Clark and his Blazers from Birmingham are the ones that keep Tennessee from being bowl eligible.

    I thought SEC schools now had to schedule at least one P5 school per year (or Notre Dame or BYU). So what’s up with Arkansas?

      So I went to Google and I can answer my own question. Michigan backed out of a home and home with Arkansas who, due to lack of time, got an exemption. I guess it’s not always your own fault if you play a wimpy schedule.

        Another reason why you need 3 Power 5 games OOC, at a minimum. Why the holdup on 9 conference games in the SEC and ACC (although tht may not toughen anyone’s schedule given that league’s issue in football.
