BAH!!!!….that stuff is for the fans. Save it for Murray State so they’ll show up.

Ugh. I love the black shirts, but we don’t need to do anything special for Notre Dame.

Fake juice. Look for a big loss in that game.

Ain’t no juice like the fake juice. Enjoy your evening at formerly Papa John’s Stadium.

Wear the black jersey at the last home game every year. That is senior day.

I don’t even care about doing it once a year. But I do wish we would wear them now and then at random just because they look cool. I agree that fake juice is something we need to avoid but that’s about a mindset rather than jerseys. It’s so weird to me how people get scared about those jerseys because we got our ass beat by Alabama when we wore them one time. That was about Alabama being ready to play and us not being ready to play with our minds on everything but the task at hand.

Agree for the most part, better team always wins. Once the whistle blows, the colors do not matter.
The only argument to that I could give is, Bama knew we were going to wear them the week of the game. It may have helped them focus & prepare more.
But then again, the better team still won. Do the jerseys help???….who knows

While I would like to see us wear them once a year, I’d bet the mortgage it ain’t happening against ND. Since the game is always in November and Tech always wears white, I don’t understand why we don’t just wear them in that game every year. Would also serve as kind of a thanks and reward to the seniors since the players seem to love them.

Home team has the choice of jerseys, usually they wear the darker of the two that play…..wearing black for the Dawgs every game will not work.

Think about the iconic teams and their uniforms – do you see them sporting new digs ever or when its a “special” game?
If Red and white jerseys were good enough for Herschel, Buck and Lindsey, then they are just fine for these players.

I think this is for you. The black jerseys are awesome.

Keep it traditional in Sanford vs. the Irish. Wear black against any other opponent for a night game in Sanford.

I like the black and would like to see us wear it once a year – not as motivation – but just because it looks great.

It usually works great in that cupcake week in November when (a) it’s not hot AF and (b) jersey juice is better than no juice at all. With the gift that Birmingham bestowed upon us and A&M while certain other local teams play the sisters of the poor, we may need to just push it to next year.

Did all the black jersey naysayers forget this?
Or this?
I think we should wear red vs. ND, but the black jerseys are becoming nothing but a dress-up costume for recruits now. They are the best alternate jersey in the game.

Thank God Kirby isn’t putting our team in awesome black jerseys. Everyone knows the color of your jersey impacts the outcome of the game.

Red jersey, silver britches and red hat (as Coach Russell called our helmets).
The only official home uniform of the University of Georgia.
Therefore, shut the hell up.
