“Holy moly, we’ve got a football player.”

Evidently my eyes weren’t deceiving me at G-Day.

No, Stevenson wasn’t a finished product by any means — who would have expected that in a spring game from a true freshman early enrollee, anyway? — but his instincts, size and athleticism really stood out.

One of the more interesting developments ahead of us this season will be watching the mix in the secondary.  I won’t be surprised if a few two-deep spots change hands by the time the Tech game rolls around.

Alright, I’ll be the first to say it…

Coach Lanning is a handsome dude. I was playing clips of his press conference on my ipad last night and my wife (who never cares about fall camp) paid very close attention.

Sorry he doesn’t do it for me. I am more of a Jordan Davis guy.

As long as our nickel and dime backs don’t get burned in a potential SEC championship game with Bama again I don’t really care who is back there.

And that’s the sad and scary part. Our DBs could play great and not be able to stop Tua and those receivers — maybe the best collection of receivers ever to play together in college. Sometimes the other guys are just better, no matter how good you are. That’s when you need coaches to scheme you into position to have a chance — but now I’m sounding like Barnhart.

You could have the best DB’s in the world and they could still complete them if you are getting no rush/pressure…..it was a different game when Walker went out. Cox certainly was not the answer.

I got a feeling we will excel in getting more penetration this year. Nothing wrong with our DB’s, we will have some of the best in the country imo….they just need some more help from the DL & LB’s.

Both Tua and the receivers were very good last year, and we had them on the ropes. We are better this season, they may, or may not be better. UGA has no reason to be intimidated by them. Three straight championship games have gone down to the last play with UGA/Bama, and we look to have our best team yet. Best team doesn’t always win, but they know we are there waiting for them. Guarantee you their team and staff respect UGA, just the tee shirt crowd doesn’t realize how competitive these two are.
Look forward to another great game between very good teams this year. Respect their program, but ain’t skeered!

A bunch of yall need to get out of the bathroom playin’ with yourselves. After porn writeups, take a cold shower. It’s neater and you don’t walk out with a telltale red face.
