A veritable smorgasbord for you…
- Here’s the entire 2020 schedule for the SEC. Don’t laugh at this, but the biggest roadblock to Georgia’s winning the division next season may be Florida’s schedule, which is a little on the light side.
- Turning to this season, Tennessee just lost its most experienced defensive lineman, who suffered a torn ACL.
- The Vols also had a returning offensive lineman up and walk out the door. Not a good day in Knoxville.
- Once Florida’s 2019 star signee, Chris Steele got his transfer waiver to play for USC this season.
- The NCAA can’t bring itself to accommodate gamblers, declines to implement standardized injury reports.
- SI’s preseason Top 25 has the usual suspects occupying the top four slots.
- The Zooker is back, baybee!
- A presidential candidate advocates paying college players.
- According to Mark Bradley, Geoff Collins has a tough act to follow. Talk about a way to make me instantly sympathize with Collins…
Regarding the schedule the loser of the UGA-Bama game has to run the table to have any chance for the CFP. The only chance the league has to get 2 in the playoff would be for the loser of round 1 to beat an undefeated division champion in Atlanta in a game where the committee decides both teams are worthy.
September 19, 2020 is going to be a brawl in Tuscaloosa. The stakes will be ridiculously high.

I hope it rains. I hope we wear black. I hope it will be looked back on as the funeral to the Bama dynasty.

NCAA is good at taking care of legacy programs ain’t it? Someone really wants USC to win now.

Even Bradley gets that Butch Jones II vibe from Collins. 🏆🏆🏆🏆

Very much yes. Thinks he’s revolutionizing things and adding swagger and “fun.” There’s so much that’s hokey about him but I can’t get over the fact one of his confidants is a marketing guy he calls “Morpheus.”

Andrew Yang is only a presidential candidate in the same way that I’m a dating candidate for Charlize Theron. We’ve both stood up and announced our candidacy, and we’re being met with about as much chance of success.

Mark Bradley thinks the 2017 game against Tennessee might have been Tech’s “most excruciating loss of this century”?
The 2005, 2006, and 2013 COFH games would like a word, sir. How quickly we forget.

Has UF played Bama in the regular season in the last 20 years? When will they again?

Good for the NCAA, nothing wrong with bettors having to dig around for their information. With all the info available these days, shame on you if you don’t factor in dinged up players being held out, or playing at less than 100%. Do you really think coaches can’t find adequate cover behind “probable” or “questionable” status tags? Thousands of message boards and “for pay” betting information sites. Too many folks thinking the new betting venues changes anything from the past (other than the volume of casual, small bets in states that allow sports betting.)

Re the lineman that left on his own: We all know mushmouth invited him to leave.

Speaking of linemen, ND just lost a Freshman lineman for the season with a knee injury. He probably would have rotated at L and R Tackle since he is 6’6″ and over 300.

The Dawgs are going to run over, around and through UT that day in the hills. My opinion is that by the 4th quarter it will be like the scene where a python is casually squeezing the varmint into unconsciousness.
