I hear alcohol was involved in blowing the Admiral.

In 2021, I’ll be looking forward to sitting in the Bulldog Joe North End Zone.

I looked at tickets just now and the lowest I saw was $115-$120. That’s freaking ridiculous.

$90 is face for end zone … $115 for sideline.

I’m guessing you’ll be able to get them outside before kickoff for a lot less.

That’s probably true. I bought directly from Vandy for end zone seats. I didn’t want to drive to Nashville with a wad of cash in my pocket.

That’s a wad? Walking around money.

That may be for you 😉

Opening game may keep them a little higher, I’m used to going to Vandy mid season after they know they suck…tickets dirt cheap pre game.

Why? Vanderbilt is on the rise…!

I was thinking about it but will pass now

Just imagine the alcohol consumption that will be needed to sit through a season of Teck football.

So you’re saying the stadium with the worst/slowest concession stands in college football will now also have to check IDs? Congratulations to the 300 fans who actually manage to make it to the counter and get their beers before the 4th quarter cutoff.

And to think, people on here thought there would be vendors roaming the aisles with their favorite craft beers, at the perfect temperature, for sale. Enjoy standing in those beer lines for warm bud light!

I was in Neyland stadium nose bleed when Herschel ran over Bill Bates…I got a feeling there are a lot of folks who want to be there when Zamir gets his first carry.

That would describe me. I’m just going about figuring the best way to arrange the purchase/itinerary.

Tickets are the easy part for this trip. Hotels are sky high that weekend, but they are high every weekend close in because of all of the bachelorette parties. I got lucky to find a hotel between Vandy and downtown that would honor my firm’s corporate rate for that Saturday night.

So I am supposed to buy that Vandy is going to take its alcohol sales to improve their football facilities? They are like a leach living off the Alabamas, Georgias, LSUs, Auburns etc of the world and put zilch back into the football program. They have the worst football stadium in all of Power 5 and now they are going to put money into this program? I am from Missouri on this proclamation.

Did anyone read the article and see how little the other schools make selling beer? Granted, they were small schools, but anyone who thinks beer sales will move the needle for big time athletics – particularly taking into account the logistical issues and reputational concerns – is kidding themselves…

Trust me, the SEC wouldn’t have changed the rule if schools didn’t think the needle could be moved.

But it’s impossible to do in Athens….

Some of you need to, take your finger out of your ass and pay attention to the thread. Beer! They will have beer for sale in all their venues at the Vandy
stadium and some of you are finding a problem with that? Sheesh!

Need good restrooms if beer is a thing. At least me

You won’t find them in Vandy’s stadium

That’s great. What I’m enjoying is that photo of thousands of disappointed VFLs watching Big Orange lose to Vandy again. Never. Gets. Old.
I’m having a hard time caring if Georgia does this or not.
