Matt Hinton makes the case for… well, actually, nobody.
Honestly, it’s a crap shoot.
Burrow is probably the safest pick, given that he’s surrounded by the best team, but statistically speaking, he’s nothing to write home about. (His 2018 stats are a decline from his predecessor’s.) Mond looks to me to have the highest upside of the bunch (and a good quarterbacks coach in Fisher), but he’ll be working with a revamped offense that will have a shaky running game, so who knows how that will go?
I could go on — Bentley has been erratic and turnover-prone. Guarantano gets a decent coach, but has to play behind a very questionable offensive line. We’ve already seen Franks work his magic.
Who you got?
Stetson Bennett obviously.

In all seriousness, I think there’s a case he’s certainly the third-most valuable.

Gosh, let’s keep Jake upright.

I came on here to say exactly that. He was elevated to that position by a team that played for an NC.

The “Year of the QB in the SEC”. Seems like the media says this ever year… Until the season starts that is.

I think the obvious sleeper (if there is such a thing) on that list is Bryant at Missouri. He was absolutely no slouch at Clemson and probably and easily an 80th-to-90th percentile QB nationally the day Lawrence was named the starter. Sure, he won’t have the supporting players at Mizzou he had around him at Clemson, but I’d think his addition would elevate that whole team.

Feleipe Franks……… is certainly not (maybe 3rd from the bottom?) even though the TURD Homers think he is the second coming.

If you’re counting, Franks votes for himself. . . . . . . 10 or 12 times. He would vote himself first but he is very humble.

I would think Bryant has the upside in this race. He lost his job but it was to the #1 QB in the nation.
Bentley would be an easy pick if he could play consistent. He’s difficult to figure. At one time, I thought he was going to be the difference maker for the cocks.

Bryant seems like a good pick. 3 QBs with playoff experience in the SEC. I would imagine those are your top 3.

Bryant and Mond seem most likely to be third best, but there’s not that much to recommend either over Bentley and Burrow. And I think there’s a pretty big gulf between the top two and third, no matter what.

I’d probably go Burrows, but yeah it’s really 3a through 3d. Franks is worse than the others, though.
