Sabotaging the product

I’m no AD, but it seems like this isn’t the most welcoming move to make with the folks you want to turn into ticket buyers 20 years down the road.

Considering UConn is coming off a horrendous 1-11 season, that’s a boss move.  Michael Adams would be proud.

Benedict is one of those guys who’s going to wake up in a decade or so and wonder what happened to the sport’s popularity.

  1. I’m guessing the students come to the lot to tailgate and then never go into the game because the on-field product is so lousy. UConn is one of those programs that needs to learn its lesson and drop back to FCS in football.

Someone needs to get this guy and Nick Saban and take them to an SEC tailgate pronto.

The time has come for someone to put his foot down. And that foot is me.

Not only 1-11 season but they’re pulling out of the American Athletic Conference and their stadium is something like 20 miles from campus.

As a parent I can’t say I love paying thousands of dollars for you to call the cops on my kids when they are tailgating.

To this day I’ve never donated a red cent to UGA as a direct result of $100 non-negotiable “special fees” I was subjected to as a broke college student.
