Time to shine

I don’t think it takes genius-level insight on my part to post this, but between Murray State and Kearis Jackson’s injury, I expect George Pickens and Dominick Blaylock are about to see some serious action this Saturday.

I hate it so much for Jackson. I was ready to see what he could do. That said, I’m excited about these new receivers. Fromm will have at smorgasbord of talent to up the passing game…if needed.

Agreed but it could end up being a blessing if it accelerates the development of these other guys and Kearis comes back strong mid-season to reinforce things.

I hope Kirby treats this game with full steam ahead and does not let up! Run those points up, let everyone get some time in, and have a ball! GO DAWGS

Hope so. I noticed Pickens was targeted twice, but I don’t think Blaylock got in, did he?

Anyhoo…despite maximum effort by Murray State, I hope we see lots of young ‘uns playing this Saturday.

This is the type of game where all the 2 and 3 deep should get plenty of game reps. Hope Kirby lets them continue to run the offense and not limit it to run up the middle on every play. The biggest thing is you just hope nobody gets hurt. We lucked out BIG TIME when that happened against Appalachian State and Fromm took over the helm. I would not count on that happening a second time.

I noticed today on his injury it was thanks to the guys club wrap being used as a weapon, maybe weapon is too harsh, but that’s ridiculous.
