27,235 beers on the wall, 27,235 beers…

Honestly, I’m a little surprised it’s that low.

    That’s disappointing. Try harder Corndogs!

Know your customer. Nothing but hard liquor at last year’s LSU tailgate.

I’m not. LSU fans drink beer to sober up. 27K out of 90k or whatever aiming to do so sounds about right.

The main thing limiting beer sales is the long lines

That’s exactly what I was thinking. You see that line, you see those prices, and you decide you don’t need that beer so badly after all.

Which means the next logical step will be Delta skybox packages at college stadiums similar to Suntrust Park, where people will wait on you hand and foot without ever leaving your seat. It’s only money after all.

They all started leaving in the middle of the 2nd quarter up 35.

    So what’s LSU’s margin on each beer? $3? $5?

    • Brandon M

I’d say $4 is a safe average. That’s another $100K per game to the bottom line. Hear that Greg?

Too low. You are in a great captive bar, if you don’t dig the price, don’t drink the beer. I enjoy a good tasting libation as much as the next guy, but sometimes the price for the venue ain’t worth it and, if I do buy one, I don’t like feeling like an idiot nor an alkie.

I think that $5 would qualify as a good buy in a football stadium. I wouldn’t pay more than $6, except maybe at the airport where they usually serve tasty red beer.

Point is, they served over 27k beers in a stadium, so something was right for a starter.

Lightweights. I’m guessing the fans didn’t have correct change or something else was slowing them down.
