Go down and stay there.

On Cager’s touchdown reception, I was so intent on watching him, I missed the best part of the play.

Check out what Cade Mays does to a poor ol’ ASU defensive lineman.

Don’t bother to get up until the whistle blows, dude.

He threw him around like he was the redneck version of Drago and that kid was Apollo Creed.

I count at least four times he made major contact with either Mays or the ground. Or both. Ouch.

LOL! That was awesome! Can an OL be called for unnecessary roughness? Because he certainly was. 🙂

The guy didn’t get any pressure at all until Mays flung him halfway to the quarterback. Of course he then dove on and pancaked him. That wasn’t very nice.

I hope to see it repeated many times this Saturday night.

I saw on another GTP post where someone had referenced that play. I had not seen it until now. WOW. I would not want to be lined up across from him. They referenced a mean streak on the playing field when we were recruiting him. They were not wrong. Imagine he comes out and you breath a sigh of relief only to find Ben Cleveland lined up across from you. That has to be demoralizing to constantly have to face a fresh mountain of a man with a bad attitude towards you lined up in your face..

That should fall under ‘rape’ and Mays should be arrested. That poor guy will need therapy.

And what was odd to me after being pretty close to him at the dawg walk, don’t get me wrong, he’s far from small, but I was surprised that he didn’t look even bigger. Cleveland is the one that you say, “ Good grief that is a big human.” When you see him. Mays is mean. Like somebody already said, I hope he does this to all of Auburn’s defensive linemen. I’m sick of hearing about how good there defensive line is.

I swear it looked like the Arky State tackle was trying to get away from Mays. Like run away. Fromm just happened to be in the general vicinity of the escape route and that got him knocked on his ass again. My goodness.

It’s almost like Cade wanted to shove him far enough away to get a better running start at him. It’s like the late Stuart Scott used to say, “Mama, make that mean man stop.”

I imagine Cade yelling “Get the hell outta here!” when he shoved him.
