He has been down this road before. The first time you may give him the benefit of the doubt, but when there is a recurring pattern, it certainly warrants MUCH closer scrutiny.
“Thompson’s August arrest wasn’t the first time he faced allegations of threats toward a woman. A different woman who had a relationship with Thompson filed for a restraining order against him in January 2018. The woman and Thompson agreed to a one-year mutual restraining order in April 2018.”
“That woman wrote in her filing for a restraining order that Thompson texted her stating that if she dated another man, he “would kill both me and that other guy.” She wrote that she believed Thompson’s threat because “he has a history of violence against me and others. He has physically slapped me, choked me, and thrown me around. I fear for my safety, and am constantly looking over my shoulder.”
The guy was accused of something and is innocent until proven guilty.
At the hearing, the purported victim said she was not threatened or assaulted. What would you have the authorities do?
Have we now reached the point where when a young black man is accused by a pissed off girlfriend that is arguing with him over him fooling around on her that we lock the young man up, take away his career and boot him out of school and declare the justice system broken?
The young lady in question should ran as fast as she can from the young black man….so he can be made Mark Dantonio’s personal project, with corch as his go to confidant…..
Completely off subject, but hated to see those folks around us Saturday night that security had to move because of the counterfeit tickets they bought on street. People never learn about buying on the street.
Or maybe just the most morally elastic.

From the testimony, and assuming this was a first time charge, the case should have been dismissed. Football or no football.

Because taking the field for the VoLLLs this season is punishment enough.

It’s only a matter of time before that ticking time bomb goes off again. Good luck, young lady.
