Why can Georgia beat Florida? Let Jake Rowe count the ways.
HISTORY…
Speaking of Fromm’s experience, history indicates that UGA’s best play is ahead of it. The Bulldogs are 10-2 in the month of November under Kirby Smart with a loss to Georgia Tech in 2016 and at Auburn in 2017. They’ve also won six November games in a row dating back to that 40-17 loss on The Plains two years ago. When you look at the 2017 and 2018 regular seasons, Georgia is 7-0 after dropping its first game. Kirby Smart also has a tremendous record against Florida’s Dan Mullen as a coordinator and a head coach and he’s quite familiar with Gus Malzahn/Auburn in addition to the rest of the teams on the schedule.
It’s not like they haven’t done it before.
OK Alex, I’ll take “History” for the win.
(If that’s all you’ve got)
I’m just glad it wasn’t “Recent History”

OK. Color me guilty of only reading the highlights. Looked at the whole piece and there is actually some meat there.

Well if we’re talking about history, Kirby has never beaten an sec west opponent on the road….or even lost by fewer than 2 touchdowns….so there’s that.

Time for the better Jimmy and Joe’s to be better.

Kirbys got Fromm and Swift now and hopefully that’ll be enough. The Dawgs Defense may be good enough to get the job done. We shall see…..GO DAWGS

Seems like a good chance we get Campbell back, which seems big to me. My biggest concern in this game is our pass defense. Feel our offense will do enough, and the FU running backs/OL should not give us much trouble except for a couple of QB scrambles. Shot down the passing lanes and I like our chances. Looking for our best game from the OL, they should have heard enough about being over rated by now. If they can’t bring it at gur check time, we could not have contended anyway, even if we hadn’t gifted SC that game with 4 turnovers.

The fat lady has not started to sing but she’s already used her throat spray. So I don’t see where the Dawgs can get to the SECCG with any numerical value above 0 on the right side. Notre Dame was impressive and I assure you that being in the Kentucky Rain in Sanford was dismal; It rained harder in Ann Arbor. So there is that theory you can’t throw in the rain thing. If Kirby don’t get the Dawgs ass out of a phone booth and USE the talent he possesses I predict the Cotton Bowl with the Mustangs or Sunny Florida with the Senator’s Cavaliers

What is the historical justification for the offense playing like ass in two straight home games against unranked opponents? This is year 4 of Kirby and the only real change is promoting Coley.

I certainly hope that past performance in indicative of future results, but if one were to use Mr. Rowe’s above logic when investing their money, they would soon have no money.
