Good to see Ohio State’s suffering come to an end after **checks notes** playing the worst team in the conference.
BREAKING: The NCAA has concluded its review. #OhioState star DL Chase Young will sit one more game (against Rutgers) and then will return for the rest of the season.

AJ and Gurley sure got screwed. The NCAA want the OSU in the playoff.

That’s showing them who’s boss, NCAA.

Cam Newtons father is still the winner of this category as cam only had 30 minutes of a suspension.
Also Herbie said it was only going to be two games.
And y’all continue to think that players (all over this land) are not being paid already. And even if they (NCAA, gubment, etc)set $$$ limits, the under the table money – to get johnny football to come to state U – will be flowing as it always has – since the days of Jim Thorpe.
why do the service academies “suck” in the post WW2 era…because they made everyone qualify in order to be admitted.

Makes Greg Mediocrity’s performance with Gurley look even worse, if that’s possible.

It’s not.
My favorite part of all that is still when GMG released a statement that was basically, “yeah, we’ve heard this….we’ll get to it Monday”

Don’t worry folks. Ohio State isn’t building up the goodwill that we did when we threw AJ and Gurley under the bus.

I guess anOSU didn’t have a swim coach with his ass in a sling.

I took a loan from a family friend our family met for the first time a month before I went to tOSU on a football scholarship. I know you may ask why I needed a loan if I was headed to a school on a full ride. I know you may also ask how I paid the loan back right away with income I was not making. Well, here is the full story. I… oh nevermind, suspension over. PEACE

I just find it rather ironic that all of this was discovered immediately before OSU easiest two game stretch of the season (MD/Rutgers). I also find it convenient that he will be suspended two games and not four, thus clearing him in time for both the PSU and Michigan games.

The rumor last week was that Maryland turned him in. Don’t know how they would have known about the situation, but it may be why they got 73 points hung on them.

Really? Damon Evans, trained in The Georgia Way, turned in tOSU?

I hate Ohio State. I hate what happened to Todd Gurley and AJ Green. But with that said, this is the correct response from the NCAA. Honestly, the correct response in this case would probably seem to be doing nothing, but anything beyond two games is excessive.
That said, I sure hope Greg McGarity gets the Ohio State AD’s phone number for the next time we’re in trouble, because it sure seems like fighting back gets you better results than rolling over and thanking them for the privilege of having your season wrecked. Maybe they can show us how to do better in investigations in exchange for sending them Justin Fields.

In all seriousness, don’t underestimate the impact of that ubiquitous tweet comparing his suspension to that of Urban Meyers. Man, I saw that tweet EVERYWHERE.
