TFW you’ve run out of rat poison

C’mon, Nick.

As we like to say here at the blog, “probably” is doing a shit ton of work there.

Wow, you are up and at em early this morning Senator! Multiple posts before 6 a.m. Impressive. Oh, and Saban is maybe not too far off. Bama has only played one real team so far this year and lost to them. Auburn is better than anyone they have played but LSU for sure.

agree….gonna be tough for Bama to get out of that place with a win. Thought LSU was very lucky to escape with a win (Auburn).

        So were we.

No luck needed at all. We smothered them early and got a lead large enough to withstand a comeback attempt. The defense rose up and stopped their two final drives to preserve the win. We didn’t need a fluke 4th and 18 tipped td pass or a kick six to somehow pull off a miraculous win.

Yeah I totally read that in the Senators voice when I saw it: “Probably” is doing a shit ton of lifting there.

Just think of ‘probably’ as a 21st Century long snapper and it makes sense.

I think he miss spoke. He meant to say they were the best team they will beat this year.

This game may be very close. Bama doesn’t have the “D” that we have to stop Auburn. If Auburn can run a little who knows what may happen?

Toughest road game bama has, for sure. I would never pull for either team, but an aubie win helps keep Gus in place, and brings Nick down a peg. Both of which helps us IMHO.

I’m coming as close to rooting for the Barn as I have in years because I really don’t want Bama grabbing another playoff spot despite not winning their division this year.

I bet the Under (50 points total) on this game. AU’s defense is legit, and both teams have freshman QBs so scoring, even with Bama’s semi-leaky defense, should be at a premium. Would not be surprised to see AU be very competitive, with a decent shot to win. JH is not an easy place to play, even with the 4 gazelles the Tide has as receivers. Should be a fun Iron Bowl to watch.

Can’t believe no one has mentioned the “so far” bit, almost like Nicky is planning on being in the CFP and playing Clemson or Ohio State….

Not the usual Iron Bowl buzz from either fanbase this year.

    LSU took the air out.
