One more thing — yeah, it was a hugely disappointing loss, especially since we thought this team was capable of more. And, yeah, as I indicated in my last post, there are certainly things that need fixing.
In any event, because of the nature of the beast, I’ve let you guys vent your hearts out for the last day. It’s time for those of you who have been showing your ass to pull your pants up now.
If you can’t find a way to have a civil discussion with other readers here, go find another place to vent, because you clearly value your moral authority more than I do. Feel free to disagree, but do so in a way you would if you were in a face to face conversation. With your mother listening.
Thank you for this post.

I second this thanks. Reading here yesterday I thought I’d been redirected over to StingTalk.

There are some enemy trolls within the gates for sure, and a similar number of “genuine” UGA fans that cannot control their emotions under stress and speak very badly of the players, coaches, and program. They are easy to spot but hard to dodge; I appreciate the Senator stepping up to this since there is not an “ignore” feature to block the childish rants. It isn’t that hard to discuss needed areas of improvement civilly, nor to avoid attacks on the players.
Would anyone have been surprised if told in advance that 1) Swift would only get 2 carries, 2) our running game would only total 61 yards, 3) we would miss two FGs, and 4) in addition to the players we were missing at the start of the game, we would lose Blaylock in the 1st Qtr. that we would not be competitive on the scoreboard? It was a bad match up going in, and we didn’t check any of the boxes we needed to overcome our deficit. So that sends adults over the edge? Pathetic, grow up.

Does this mean I can’t say the F word anymore?
And I’m sticking to my guns. Kirby’s sideline antics are cartoonish.

Don’t recall any other time in my adult life where someone either wanted to fight me or threatened to kick my a**. At the time (and now) it was funny and I got a good laugh out of it. Especially after he posted his phone number and wanted me to meet him in some godforsaken place in SC. I’m going to chalk it up to the alcohol talking.
With that said, I was totally in the wrong for engaging with someone who clearly was emotionally bent at the time; just dumb on my part. So for that my apologies. That includes you 92Grad.

Man how did I miss all this yesterday? Must have happened late at night after the Knob Creek took effect.

I still haven’t gone in and read the comments from yesterday. Let’s hope the team shows up for the Sugar bowl and we start next year off with a win.

Aw, heck, since 92Grad gave you his cell number call the Greenwood Dominos and order 30 pizzas and give Dominos that number!
