Your Daily Gator isn’t fazed.

The denizens of Swamp247 don’t seem particularly impressed with the Monken hire.

    Those fucking turds! Hah!

They’re happily eating up all the, “Gators will win the East in 2020,” media talk while Kirby just made the one decision he needed to make to keep us on top of the division and more.

This year in Jacksonville will be the most disapointing for them since Bill Stanfill curbstomped Steve Spurrier’s conference title hope in 1966.

That’s the kind of game you wish you were alive to see. Now, the fact that specific game basically created the Darth Visor we loathe and hate? Not as cool. Otherwise, for one glorious day, we owned his ass.

As vivid in his memory as the skirt ripping spud received oh so many years ago is his last encounter with the Dawgs when he endured an ass kicking of record setting proportions in Sanford Stadium-Dooley Field. It gives me great pleasure that petty, vindictive piece of shit had his career book-ended by a Dawg beat down.
          Fuck that motherfucker.

      Best comment:
“Haha The Browns offense sucked, this shows Kirby is still stuck in Bama offenses of 2009-11. Predicated on a stud RB, I hope he never evolves!!”

  3. Anywhere from average hire to worst possible hire. Kirby’s way of further squandering talent. Meanwhile, their savior hasn’t beaten Kirby. That’s what you call delusional. Monken may not be a great hire but our shit offense has still outperformed theirs.

That is some true gatah manipulating of data. If you don’t in the game, or lead the series, change the perspective to one that pleases them. When we lined up, our guys whipped them in stats, and on the scoreboard. If they want to waffle, let them hang out with stupid FU fans. Sad little life they have, and likely another sad chapter for them in JAX.

Yeah, and in 2017 OU’s offense outperformed ours. I still remember them sitting at home while we played in the championship game. Same as in Jax last year.

#FTMF. I’m really going to enjoy the beat down next season. Our defense will destroy them, and even our offense from this season will be more than enough.

Russ, wondering if KIRB’s ( in the neighborhood points wise) would EVER entertain the thought of scoring the most ever on FU @ jacksonville (during his HC time @ UGA)…not saying CKS harbors any ill will towards ANYONE on this earth

Well, we put 50 up on the ‘turds, that’s okay by me.

What I want more than anything though, is to put up the same amount of points as Cade Mays’s Tennessee jersey number when he and his fucking family come to visit in November. If it’s 77, all the better. Would love to see the look on Ken Mays’s fat fucking face after we put up 11 TDs against his beloved Vawls. Fuck that guy and his 9 1/2 fingers.

Smart could have hired Bellichick as DC, Tom Brady as QB coach, and Kyle Shanahan as OC, and they still would have snickered and laughed. Those dudes are so deluded and desperate to turn the series around that they sound like me and my college buddies in Athens back in ’96.

Fact is that UF’s recruiting hasn’t improved, and they simply don’t have the horses to beat us. They also lost their top guys as well – including their entire WR core – yet they still will be the media darlings this entire off-season.

God, when we were so sure Richt would be the guy, but he just could never beat those fucking turds more than 2 times in the entire 2000’s. We should’ve known then, even with his 3-year winning streak from 2011-2013.

I think maybe that’s the biggest tell, don’t you? When Corch beat us in 2005 with a bad team, even if Joe T3 was our QB that game, they still beat us when they never should have, that was a signal. Kirby’s three year dominance is unlike Richt’s because Kirby is demoralizing them on the field AND on the recruiting trail.

Beating the Gators with regularity (or them beating us) is the canary in the coal mine on if a coach is good enough to win it all. If not that specifically, then it’s a good indicator that he’s a good possibility to win it all.

“Trust me he is, i mean seriously on face valuse alone this is one of the dumbest hires ive ever seen. Im sorry i would of got a OC from the big12”

Um, we kind of did, dumbass. Apparently he’s forgotten Okie State dropping truckloads of points of people (and winning a Big XII title) when Monken was there back in 2011–12. Next time try typing without mittens on.

Love the “Should have hired a guy form the Big 12” comment, etc. (Monken was the offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach when Oklahoma State ranked second in the nation in passing offense in 2011, future first-round NFL draft pick Weeden ninth in the country in passing efficiency. Okla St ranked #2 & #3 nationally in scoring under Monken.)

Mocking his time in Cleveland where he didn’t call plays or Tampa (“Monken’s Tampa Bay offense set records for total yards, passing yards and passing touchdowns. Tampa led the NFL in passing in 2018.)

The advanced passing stats really like that Tampa offense (more yards in the air and yards/completion than any other team, by significant margins.)

If you can lead the NFL in passing with a dingleberry like Jameis Winston at QB, you’ve got some mojo workin’.

When we put 50 on them in Jax next year then they will be worried. Grantham is losing his two best Dline and is replacing them with one of our cast offs who was passed by two freshmen on the depth chart. Color me not worried about them. #ftmf

Pretty sure Cox appeared to be fighting with other players during the 18 season a time or two. Would not be upset if that continued with him there too.

What’s better than beating FU with a trash offense? Beating them with a slightly improved offense!

That thread must have been what we all sounded like in the 90’s. Sheesh.

Transfer quarterback … bad. New OC …. bad. Giving Grantham another raise because “he’s interested in the LSU job” …. GOOD. Dawgs a winner either way.

They’re right to be unfazed. Sideshow is by far the best play caller and head coach in America. That’s not changing anytime soon. Kirby and staff could win 10 national titles and Mullen would still be a better coach. It’s just how it is.

  16. Message board idiots are what they are, but even though I knew what I would find when I clicked the link… I was still stunned at the sheer stupidity. It’s like the two brain cells floating around in their skulls collide and the impact makes them think they have created an original thought that must be shared. The same can be said for twitter, et al, and I have certainly typed things on here that were completely stupid that I regretted later, but at least it usually forms complete thoughts.

Also, Kirby beat Dan’s ass with James Coley as OC. I think Kirby will do just fine with a proven college and NFL OC taking over as well.

You have to admire the idiot savant who said, “Georgia should have hired someone from the Big12”. Monken was the OC at OSU during the timeframe of Gundy’s most prolific offense.

Gator fans are openly nervous, because they know Kirby is ALWAYS one step ahead of Disco Dan. They see their program improving, but deep down they know Kirby is living rent free in Mullen’s mind.
