You’re gonna need a bigger Waffle House.

Looks like Vegas is still a wee bit skeptical about that rebuild on the Flats.

1000/1? Isn’t that the male/female ratio at Tech?

I thought it was the odds of them beating Gardner-Webb. Since they are Bulldogs also, I figured the nerds would crap the bed just like they did against the Bulldogs from The Citadel (and of course there annual end of the year Bulldog ass whippin)

Nobody’s ever been able to determine the male/female ratio at Tech.

Are they even the best team in the 404? Ga State, Morehouse, Grady High? And does Savannah College of Art & Design Atlanta’s rugby club count?

What are their odds on winning 6? They’ll save the NC until 2021.

I would go 50/50 on them winning 6 games this year. The ACC is a joke. Collins knew it was at least a 4 year rebuild going in, but I can see them getting 6 wins in that toilet bowl conference plus some weak OOC opponents.

They could easily wind up with a similar record to this past season. They had a fluke win vs Miami, but if Miami can actually find a QB? That’s a loss. UNC, VT, Duke, UVA are all in better shape. That leaves games vs Pitt and at Syracuse, or beating UCF at home to try and hit 4 wins. And that’s assuming they get past Gardner-Webb, which, considering they couldn’t beat the Citadel…

I mean if Leicester City can win the Premier League at 5000:1 I suppose anything is possible…

Skeptic that I am, I checked those odds and discovered the smothered hash browns were listed at only 500/1 odds to win.

If this bigger #404 WH has an indoor practice facility and each player booth has a direct line to the grill cook plus a personalized juke box….UGA’s crootin days are numbered in the “we run this state” ….according to Vegas, “What Whuppins UGA puts on nerd football, stays on sting talk till next year””

UCF, ND and UGA OOC doesn’t bode well for GT.

Good thing the Citadel is not around.

Speaking of gambling, I’m planning a trip to Memphis/Tunica in a couple of weeks. Does anybody know if they have a Vegas-style sportsbook anywhere in Tunica?…and do they deal cards at the blackjack tables? TIA

Mississippi does have sports gambling, but I wouldn’t look for anything as sophisticated as any of the larger sportsbooks you see at the better Vegas locations. Some of that is due to the newness of this form of betting, but primarily the limitations of casino size. Not enough action to displace where Tunica’s customers normally spend their time/money. It took decades for the Vegas operations to grow to what you see today, and they have a much bigger base of gamblers.

Yes, they use live dealers for black jack, but I honestly haven’t been in a long, long time so my information could be dated. I doubt that has changed though, using video feeds for BJ would be a killer for any casino hoping to attract anyone above beginning gamblers. I have never played a hand using remote dealers; just wouldn’t trust it when I am playing against the house.
