A model of stability

This seems fine ($$).

Pruitt took over as Tennessee’s head coach in December 2017. In February 2018, he announced his first coaching staff.

Since then, the Vols have had 11 coaching changes and stripped two coaches of coordinator titles. Earlier this month, they lost director of player personnel Drew Hughes to South Carolina, where he rejoined a coach he’s long been close with in Will Muschamp.

Churn among any coaching staff is a natural part of the sport, but Tennessee has undergone an alarming amount of change.

Sounds like it’s a real treat working for Pruitt.  No wonder Fulmer’s concerned about making things awful hard on the coaches.

I know they got their annual (but ending this year) November bounce, but I’m still amazed they put together that string of wins to close the season. Then they had their epic, one for the ages, win over historic power Indiana. He has to be an ass to work for, but I guess the players like him. If any team was going to quit, it would have been that team last season that lost to Georgia State(!) and BYU at home to start the season.

As long as we keep kicking his ass, I’m happy if he beats the Portal Master™ every now and then.

If Jeremy and Phil would stop eating donuts, drinking from unmarked brown jugs, and put on their pants for staff meetings maybe the revolving hiring door would slow down.

My favorite idea going around about UT is that “Vol fans don’t deserve” all the chaos and failure of the last decade or so, when in fact, they MORE than deserve it and more. I think everyone remembers the 90’s. Buncha jerks.

And here I was thinking it would be easy to find and keep overweight, over-the-hill assistants. Apparently even they have their standards😉
