Another “but you already knew that” chart

Hey, guess what?

Georgia’s defense was really, really good last year.  Its offense?  Not so much.

You’re welcome.

Bama’s offense was better in this regard than LSU’s fabled season? Color me surprised.

And Saban did it without wizkid Joe Brady. Probably gonna see 4 offensive players from bama drafted in the 1st round, and they’re still set to be a top O in 2020!

Our offense better show up to play when we go to bama. Manball ain’t gonna get ‘er done.

  2. Sigh…deciding to value recruiting in South Florida over coaching acumen after Chaney left is one decision I bet Kirby wishes he could have back.

    In 2019, Offense Wins ChampionshipsⓇ.

Lemme see if I can trademark that.

  5. I think for me, I’m not totally surprised that LSU is lower than Bama on this chart. For me, Bama was really, by the eyeball test, as good as LSU. Where I think LSU really ‘got’ everyone was Joe Burrow making something outta nothing. And that something was usually more than just a first down. Burrow absolutely murdered us avoiding the rush when we thought we had him and was throwing dimes on the run.

They were close, And Bama was damned good, and explosive. I think LSU was better, Bama didn’t play as tough as a schedule as Geaux Tigahs did. In a addition to Texas OOC, LSU faced Georgia, Clemson, and FU’s defenses. Bama no where near that. Also think LSU was better balanced as a threat, Bama’s offense was inflated by the best group of WRs I have ever seen on one team, they ran wide open and gave the Tide a lot of 40 yard plus plays.
