Your Daily Gator is shocked, shocked.

The folks at Swamp247 discover the bagman — at other schools, of course.

  1. They are so pathetic. The school that had its first SEC championship stripped from it due to NCAA probation and has been hit hard multiple times by the NCAA is now on the straight and narrow. Right.

Oh, they’re so perfect at Florida! I just stand silent in admiration!

Alabama had an incident several years back where an agent was funneling money to players through an agent.

I remember this. It was that time that the guy over there was doing some things.

After watching the Aaron Hernandez documentary it struck me that maybe Florida actually decided to clean up its act a little and that’s why they recruit like an awkward Mark Richt. Just a thought.

LOLing at how the thread is devolving into a battle between the church ladies who think Florida doesn’t pay recruits, the people who think Florida doesn’t pay recruits but should, the pragmatists who recognize that everyone pays recruits, and the folks who wonder how Mullen and his staff can be paying recruits yet still getting owned repeatedly on the recruiting trail.

Percy “Harvey” approves that message. What coaching staff reportedly made Cam an offer that he & the Rev refused? Could have sworn it was Miss State.

I don’t know what’s funnier… the ‘turds that actually believe this to be true deep in their souls, or the few seemingly rational ‘turds who sit on their boards and make fun of them.

When I read these things, I swear “TheSwamp15” is a stealth Dawg who does nothing but make fun of these idiots.

I don’t think he’s a Dawg, but he’s definitely the in-house troll over there. Dude can really get them going sometimes.

Portal Master works in both directions.

Was happy to see another UF top recruit transfer last week. I think he was the 2nd highest rated player in the class and an early enrollee.

Unknown Blogger. Claims heard it happen happen 4-6 years ago. Is not a credible source. Is just now posting it on a Gator Only Recruiting blog site BUT ONLY AFTER Mullen’s into his 3rd recruiting class. Seems his MO is two-fold:
1.) He is implying UF/Mullen isnt holding instate, blue chip) recruits (in addition to non- Alabama, instate new coaches at Miami, FSU, USF, UCF & they need to cheat harder.

2.) He is wishing to get the NCAA”s attention to investigate Alabama

Well, one of them was right in saying they need to pay more. You have to pay the Mullen tax, which means they have to seriously outbid other more desirable schools.

Lets assume for arguments sake that FU has never had a bagman and every other school does. I would feel much better about having to defend my school’s use of a bagman to recruit/pay players vs Florida’s need to keep a CRIMINAL DEFENSE LAWYER on speed dial to respond to multiple FELONY arrest.

This whole thread ignores the fact that winning consistently makes you much more attractive to recruits. Doesn’t seem to have dawned on any of them. has it?
