This is good, right?
Georgia surrendered just 0.7 yards to opposing rushers before contact per attempt last season.
The lowest rate in the nation. pic.twitter.com/V3PKSGdGhT

When opposing rushers watch film on the UGA “D”, they understand whats next after first contact…..more contact and then Turf…some players enjoy that kind of thing others not so much and those limp, crawl give the hand sign for relief or maybe a white towel wave if they could only get it out of their ass crack…

Hehehehehe. White towel because the D can’t hear the tap out on turf.

We do this without committing 7 or 8 guys consistently to run support. Our front 6 (minus the star) takes on all comers without rolling the strong safety down. That makes it difficult to move the ball either on the ground or through the air.
The Daily Handbag needs to see this stat and be reminded that most of the guys who made that happen are back and better than ever. OTOH, don’t tell them and let it be a nasty surprise in Jacksonville.

What would it have been without the LSU game? Negative yardage?

I wouldn’t mind trading ‘a little’ running yardage in exchange for some sacks and turnovers. I guess it comes down to whether you prefer being killed by the Boa constrictor or the Black Mamba.
