Somebody doesn’t sound overly sure of where he wants to matriculate.
Four-star defensive back Kamar Wilcoxson has committed to the Florida Gators, spurning Tennessee, which he had been committed to since April 27. The commitment on Friday marks the third time the Class of 2021 standout has offered his pledge to the Gators.
Wilcoxson initially committed to coach Dan Mullen’s program on Nov. 3, 2018, when he was a freshman in high school. He decommitted on April 27, 2019, only to recommit three months later. He decommitted again on March 26, 2020 before committing to Tennessee one day later.
Maybe the third time’s a charm, but I’d love to see the kid show a little drama and timing by switching back to the Urnge at halftime of this year’s UF-UT game.
That would be perfect. Then go into the Portal before his Freshman Season, The Portal Master Grab him, only to be fired, with Florida then Florida hiring Butch Jones, making all of their players Champions of LIfe. 🙂

Taking the potential rating of this student athlete and applying the matrix practiced in hogtown….that would make FU signing a 12 star hs athlete…this is beyond “meteoric”…

In the language of today, UF recruiting is surging to record numbers. I blame the Governor.

He’s not the recruit they need, but the recruit they deserve.

I like the kid already. He can make both fu and utk recruiters concentrate 2+ years of time and effort just to land one (1) DB…..maybe.

He should continue going back and forth decommitting and committing to Florida and Tennessee, right up until (or past) Signing Day, when he ends up signing on the dotted line for … TCU.
