“... Shoot, why does anybody who’s ever won something do it again? Because it’s cool. So, let’s go do it again. Let’s see if we’ve got what it takes.” -- Stetson Bennett, The Athletic, 3/22/22
I think it’s about time we issue an annual Dawgrading award.

No issue with the Bama take. We haven’t beat them, until we do, picking them makes sense. The UF take by two writers – yeah, ok. Gators have problems of their own, and are still thin in the some positions, particularly at QB and RB, with a C+ line at best.
Wouldn’t be surprised to see UK and UT in front of them this. year. Dawgs stay on top.

The ENTIRE pro Florida argument hinges on the notion that Trask will take a step forward and UGA with Newman/Daniels will regress. Nothing else is in their favor. UGA has the better defense, better tailbacks, better WRs potentially, and Third and Grantham. Trask lost his top RB and top WRs. Fromm melted without his experienced WRs in 2019 (it was Cager or bust), and who is to say that Trask is any different?
