On the other hand, Georgia Tech fans will always have this to console themselves with ($$):
“It’s the feel of the stadium,” Moore said. “It doesn’t matter what has happened in the previous three quarters of a football game. When we get to that break, everybody stands up and does it. It’s a vibe, a communal thing.”
“It doesn’t matter what has happened in the previous three quarters of a football game.” That explains why Tech doesn’t break out this beer jingle after a typical three-quarter result.

They had to stop playing the Bud song at Illinois because the upper decks were moving way too much from the stomping!

Wow, lot’s of empty seats in the stands…but I did see some genuine smiles. I give them credit for taking what little bit of a football program that they have and making some merriment out of it, I guess.

Yeah. If only WE had something cool like that, a song and fan participation thing, during the the break between the third and fourth quarters. Oh wait…

This is probably too meta for the kids today but there has to be a school that sings this one … Bonus = Sgt. Getraer from CHIPS, Robert Pine, aka Chris Pine’s Dad.
Found a whole bunch of these “Beer Tonight” commercials in this series, different times. “Steak and a Lowenbrau”

Wait a minute…their road pep band (equivalent to UGA’s “Derbies”) doesn’t have uniforms?!? (Or, at least, didn’t in 2011?)

Since when has tech politely waited for the Redcoats to do their 4th quarter thing? I have booed the tech band every year since ’92. Before that; I just laughed.

I like the way the scoreboard goes blank at the end of most games at their stadium….nice tradition.

“…the band tries to be respectful of the host team’s own traditions. Bands have something they play before the start of the fourth quarter, so if Georgia Tech is the visiting team, the band will wait and play Budweiser during a timeout around that break…”
Bullshit.
