From Jake Rowe’s Insider Notes:
I want to be cautious with this one and remind everyone that UGA hasn’t put on the pads yet and there’s a long way to go, but for the first time since he arrived on campus a couple of years ago, I’m hearing some significant buzz surrounding Tommy Bush. I spoke with a contact and made mention of how I was hearing good stuff about Jermaine Burton and they immediately told me that Bush, a 6-foot-5 190-pound speedster, was turning heads. He has added some strength and mass and it appears to be paying off.
There are some other online whispers about Bush indicating similar stuff. Who knows, but a tall speedster as another receiving option wouldn’t hurt Monken’s plans, I suspect.
6’5″ & 190. Put some seconds on that player’s plate!

He had some sort of lingering leg or groin injury last season, didn’t he?

Pickens and Bush on the outsides. A QB that is supposed to be good at connecting on those patterns. Man! I really hope to have a season even if just 10 conference games.

Absolutely. Load the box at your own risk, Todd…

Easily the best wide receiver UGA’s had since AJ Green.

See, you guys salivating over Pickens and Bush running Flag and Go routes outside the numbers, but me? I’m salivating over a lay lock and McKitty being WIDE FUCKING OPEN in the middle of the field between the numbers.
And then when the safety is pulled out of the box because they realize we will throw over the middle, that’s when Zeus and Cook get the ball for huge chunk plays into the line or on the edge, or we throw the swing passes to Cook.
Monken is going to fucking destroy everyone this season. I believe it in my bones.
