Clay Travis is doing his damnedest to live up to the principle that no one ever went broke underestimating the intelligence of the American people.

I think the utter stupidity and shamelessness that has gone into overdrive is the thing that bothers me the most about the twitter era. Hot takes are what they are, but it’s when they’re so brazenly idiotic as this that the hair on my arms starts standing on end.

It’s one thing to pander for retweets and clicks, it’s another to do it while you’re so obviously lying and saying things you don’t believe.

No, guys, I’m talking about Clay here, not that other famous tweeter.

Guy really needs to do some curls if he likes wearing those T-shirts so much.

No, no, no, you just misunderstood. It’s the idea of an 8- or 9-game conference-only schedule that he hated. But 10 conference-only games? That’s the ticket!

It’s kind of like in Nineteen Eighty-Four when Oceania would be at war with Eurasia and then switch on a dime to being at war with Eastasia. They’d switch the banners in the middle of a rally and everyone would go right along with it.

Clay Travis is hilarious. Anyone who says “I love the 1A and Boobs” on live TV on CNN( lol) is a damn fine American.

Cmon Senator it’s all in good fun.

Clay isn’t the hero we want but he is the hero we need.

Still thinking he be better as a country singer. All he needs is a song about trains, mom and getting drunk.
