This one turned up and I can’t get it out of my head. Catchy number from Chris Isaak’s 2009 release, Mr. Lucky.
There’s just enough twang in there to make me wonder what somebody like Dwight Yoakam could do with it in a cover version.

When my wife and I were dating, about 23 years ago, we went to see him and the Wallflowers at the Fox. When Chris started she just grabbed the binocs from the guy sitting next to her!

My wife and I saw him at Chastain a few years back. IIRC he opened for Stevie Nicks. Every woman in there was trying to get on stage.

I was going to make fun of you for having to take your wife to a Stevie Nicks concert, then I remembered I had to take mine to an Elle King show at Chastain as well. 😉

I’ll give you another chance, we saw K.D. Lang at Chastain too. Highest women to men ratio I’ve ever seen in one venue. Too bad they were Lang thangs. Bash away!

Nope. Took her to see Mary Chapin Carpenter In the early 90’s on the last stop of her tour. Actually one of the better shows I’ve seen.
