Heartbreaking?  Urbs, I do not think that word means what you think it means.

Although I suppose I should be grateful he didn’t say they’ll handle it, and it’s going to be a big deal.

I know the situations are a bit different, considering covid-19 worries are the reason this game moved just for this season, but I kinda understand his gut reaction (which this likely was as opposed to a well-thought out reaction).

I’m still angry McGarity allowed the permanent move of Auburn to October from where it’s been for 100 years in November.

He’s got the sociopathic ability to say anything and not have a scintilla of self doubt, self reflection or the like. It’ll serve him well when he’s beating Washington State by 70 points in 2 years and Bruce Feldman is doing “culture” pieces on USC.

Ugh. Bruce Feldman. He’s only one of the reasons why The Athletic has become wholly unreadable.

I like Bruce Feldman it’s just that you know what he’s going to write when it’s about certain teams. I do detect an underlying Georgia disrespect in some of his and the other national writers stuff but I’m probably overly sensitive and would rather us win and prove them wrong than to get too spun up about it.

Enjoyed The Athletic and its uniqueness for awhile, but it is becoming same old same old drivel the past few months and has definitely lost the “it” factor, IMO…

I heard someone suggest recently to put the major rivalry games at the front end of the season, week one preferably. That way if we only get a few games in then we’d have at least played the ones we most want to see.

If you think this year will end up getting cut short like me, then this sounds like a great idea. I realize I’m probably in the minority on that, though.
