Musical palate cleanser, middle of nowhere edition

One of the best closing credits songs I can think of, listen to Dwight Yoakam’s “Thousand Miles From Nowhere” play as Red Rock West comes to an end:

Pretty much a perfect match…

Good tune. It’s a Cage movie where he has short hair meaning it’s a good one. That’s about the same as gauging a movie’s quality by whether it has Harry Dean Stanton or M Emmet Walsh in supporting roles.

It’s always interesting to see him in a movie, as he seems very different than his on-stage persona.

This is one of those songs I can’t get out of my head. All of DW’s music videos are outstanding. If you’ve never watched them, you’re missing some great art and entertainment.

    For What it’s Worth:
    Spot on tune.
    No SEC schedule
The truth that UGA is loaded and might not have anywhere to go.

Why have I never heard of this movie????

Yoakam is awesome. The guy is an original, and would put a whooping on the boys in skinny jeans who call themselves Cuntry.
