If I didn’t know any better…

… I’d say Kirby’s got a handle on Dan Mullen’s offensive prowess.

  1. Kirby has MuLLLet figured out. In all 3 of those games, the yardage is inflated due to garbage time. When the games were competitive or Kirby wasn’t exchanging yards for clock, it’s downright dominant what our defense has done to Dopey the last 3 years.

We know that can’t be true as Mullen is a WAY better coach and strategist than Kirby. We know that right? I read it on a Gator website so it has to be accurate.

Remember Cousin Eddie desperately trying to score a TD at the end of the game in 2017 against our second string defense? But he couldn’t? It was beautiful!

That game was as fun as any to watch if you bleed red and black. From the opening flea flicker to the goal line stand at the end and all the fun in between. I believe MSU was ranked at the time.

        • MSU was the fashionable talking head pick that Saturday night. The beatdown we put on the Bizarro Dogs was a beautiful thing to watch.

I knew Nick Fitzgerald wasn’t going to be able to do the things MuLLLet wanted him to do against our defense. Roquan was a beast that evening.

If you can’t throw and catch it, you can’t beat Kirby’s d.

If you can throw it and catch it, buy some time, and run for a few for a few first downs, you might post 40.

Its designed to crush all but the most elite qbs and wrs. That d is pretty helpless against that description.

Which is why its now so important to have explosive offenses now. Because the teams you’ll have to beat at the end of the season will almost always fit that mold and you just have to outscore them.

            • All defenses with today’s rules (or lack of enforcement) can be burned by elite QBs and WRs. We just need an offense whose explosiveness can match our defense’s ability to strangle teams.

If you have an explosive offense combined with our defense, you put so much pressure on the other team to score. Take the Rose Bowl. We sat back in the first half and allowed Mayfield to pick us apart. We attacked the line of scrimmage in the 2nd half and got him out of rhythm. In the meantime, our offense was shredding OU’s defense. Throw in field position and we clawed our way back in. We couldn’t do that against LSU this year because the offense wasn’t elite and couldn’t give the D a break.

There is a reason that Johnny Football went nuts on Saban/Smarts D and not John Chavis.

Chavis is willing to back off his corners.

Saban will not. Thats why you see a guy like Mike Evans get 7 catches for 279 yards.

Thats a ridiculous stat line. And preventable.

Saban has decided its better to play the same way vs. everyone than to change game plans every week to suit the opponent. If you recruit like he does its not a bad philosophy, but its hardly flawless.

I don’t get the sense that cks is quite as stubborn, fwiw.

Monty Rice’s moment in the sun as a freshman. Walter Grant played great in the second half of that game as well. I took my Dad who is not a football fan to his first game at Sanford stadium so that game has a special place for me.

Almost makes you wonder if Mullen should hire an OC and admit he’s only good at other aspects of being a head coach like recruiting. Oh wait.

This can’t be true, because all the Floriduh ‘turds on Twitter and Alligator Alley keep telling us Sideshow Dan the Clown is a coaching genius while Kirby DUMB is a moron who can only recruit because he cheats with better bagmen than everyone else! 😂🤣😂

Bring all those fancy numbers and all those wordy sentences about CKS….that gap ain’t closing anytime soon, the L’s will continue to pile up in the FU column against UGA, sadly the current FU hc will leave hogtown for more $$$ at another willing institution just prior to being run out of town due to…..death threats, that’s the ticket…..#FTMF

And it ain’t much pretty on the other side of the ball for that moron. I’ve lost count how many TDs we have scored on 3rd down now.
