Coach may want to opt-out of any future answering of questions in public….that was painful…

I thought he was referring to football “bubble” is safer being safer than just “hanging out” bubble – per his entire comments?

All charming quirkiness and eccentricities aside, Les Miles is a dick.

Les is self-serving just like all coaches. The problem is he’s not a good speaker. What I think he was trying to say is that the kids are safer in the CFB bubble than outside of it. But he don’t talk the words so goodly.

I mean, it makes perfect sense to me from a purely rational standpoint (not making any value judgments on the why).

Any player who opts out of the season won’t be allowed in the facility for the rest of the season and probably won’t be allowed to have the same services available to other players (getting tested 3 times per week, close medical care) and will have to be with the rest of students on campus.

When they opt out of the team, they can’t be part of the team, so they opt into the same risks the rest of the student body or “civilian” population has with less medical care and testing.
