“I have a lot of trust to build back.”

No shit, Sherlock.

I don’t care where you personally stand on BLM, if you’re an athletic director, doing an “all lives matter” take on anything these days is a galactically empty headed move.  Well played, genius.

Are there any AD’s out there that aren’t either complete dumbasses or totally tone deaf?

  2. Cue the knee-jerk, performative outrage from the folks who will say all lives matter but then spend comment after comment revealing just how little certain lives matter to them.

Turns out that everything is offensive to someone, and anything one says can be taken out of context and used to label one as whatever “ist” or “hole” makes the accuser feel better.
Not that being lumped in with “ists” and “holes” rubs me the wrong way or anything…

ADs are more like equity group managers than leaders of “Student Athletes”, prime example is in the BM building.

I understand that a large percentage of the population is made up of imbeciles, morons and functional illiterates, but how did so many become ADs?

Watch Marcellus Wiley talk about BLM. Two separate issues. BLM is an organization that should be destroyed. No other way to slice it. And it will go away as it has in the past, once the $$ runs out Nov 4. The 2nd issue is being aware….. and yes all kids need to be heard and all black lives do matter. Not the organization but the reality in our society so they need to be heard. For loving kids and also for recruiting etc…

I’ll say it, folks should read the BLM “manifesto” and make their pens minds up if they are worthy or not.
