It’s up to Ron Courson now.

Kirby sounds less confident by the day that Daniels will play against Arkansas.

Let’s hope Mathis stays healthy.

Let’s hope Mathis stays healthy, but we’ve got Beck, too. I personally hope that Georgia never starts another true freshman quarterback as long as I live, but he’s there at least.

You know, given the spate of terrible injuries we just saw in the NFL, I wouldn’t mind if it took another few weeks for Daniels to clear.

Look, we know there’s a good reason why CFB and the NFL had Spring Practices. It’s to keep bodies and muscles and ligaments all in good working order through the year. Having too much time off for athletes is actually a bad thing. Doctors and people involved with exercise science know this.

I’m so glad we have Ron Courson, and even if he’s frustrated right now, I know Daniels will eventually come to see it that was as well.

We are holding him out for the 2nd half against Alabama…

  4. Not unexpected. And better to wait if not ready. My knee is still not right from surgery in Feb. Of course, I am fat and lazy.

I honestly have no idea which I would prefer. I just want to see whichever one it is actually play.

Curiosity and an urge for something different than the usual makes me kinda want Mathis, just for prospect of seeing a QB do some real damage with his legs for the first time since Shockley.

Point is, aside from having both available for depth or letting them rotate and fight it out or whatever, I’m really not all that concerned with his injury status; certainly don’t want him rushed back for a team we ought not struggle with even if a DB who played QB in high school has to step in.
