It’s Saturday in Athens.

But as Groo notes, this is likely to be a very different game day atmosphere than we’ve experienced before.

In case you’re wondering, I am heading up that way this afternoon.  I hope this is a case of the best-laid plans working.  I’ll report back tomorrow on what the experience was like.

  1. Have a blast, Senator, and take care.

    I’ll be there next Saturday.

  2. I hope the experience is great. But it will be more fun to write about if it’s a total disaster. You win either way, Senator. Go Dawgs.

  3. I opted out for good reasons, but it’s killing me to not be there today. First time since the 1970s, I’ll miss a UGA/Auburn game in Athens. Pull ‘em through, Senator!

Good luck. I opted out this year.

I tell you what, it’s an absolutely beautiful fall day for football. Wish I could be there.

    Stay healthy, Bluto.
    GO DAWGS !!!

See you up there. Swinging by the railroad lot in spirit.

I’ll be there, doing some actual tailgating. By tailgating I mean sitting on the tailgate of my truck, eating chicken. We would usually be in Athens already. I like tailgating all day, but not leaving the house until 2:30 is nice every now and then.

We opted out. Enjoy it is odd to be at home. Enjoy and stay healthy.

Been in Athens with college friends since Thursday, but we’ll be watching on a big screen unless we luck out with 6 tickets. Go Dawgs!

Hit up Normaltown Brewing off Oneta/Chase St. they let you bring in Talloc and got Rivalry Week (an IPA) on tap, games on tvs and are Damn Good Dawgs. Kept crawlers to go rolling during the Spring shutdowns.

    Go Dawgs!
I like to ride in my truck!

    Give ’em hell Blutarsky!
