Mission accomplished.

Dude played like it took it personally.

In particular, although it was a fairly meaningless moment in the vast scheme of things last night, I absolutely loved the way he blew up Gus’ bullshit attempt at trickeration at the end of the first half.

That’s a bad, bad man. Just the kind of guy you’d love to see wearing those now NFL-worst uniforms of the Falcons, but the Falcons don’t draft Dawgs. They’ll take another DB a round too early or pick another LSU LB who doesn’t transition well to the pros.

Indeed. I was calling for a timeout there. It was bush league to try that and I liked how Azeez handled it.

  3. Azeez reminds me of Carter and Bellamy in 2017. It seemed like they were rarely fooled or out of position that season. Last night Azeez single-handedly blew up a zone-read play where Nix was trying to read him and failed. He also blew up a screen that resulted in a lost down, in addition to the silly pre-halftime play he dealt with. Auburn’s OL had a difficult time blocking him except to hold him or tackle him, and even then he pressured Nix up into the pocket and off schedule. It’s like the game is slowing down for him, which is very, very good for UGA.

  4. Anyone got a clip of this? I remember thinking ‘fucking Auburn would pull a bullshit fake kneel down’. Did Azeez bust someone’s ass and I missed it?
