Looks like Georgia will be getting back a couple of key players who should be tanned, rested and ready.

There’s a good chance that Georgia could get a couple of key contributors back for this weekend’s showdown with No. 2 Alabama (8 p.m. ET on CBS). Kirby Smart met with reporters after Tuesday’s practice where he was asked about the statuses of junior running back James Cook and senior outside linebacker Jermaine Johnson. The prognosis on both is positive according to their head coach.

“They both practiced the last two days, they’ve been full go and we expect them to play,” Smart said.

Georgia’s gotten by with significant contributions from others in their absence, but it’ll be good to add both back into the mix, especially Johnson, who, at 6-foot-5 and 255 pounds, is the defense’s biggest outside linebacker.  Might come in handy defending Najee Harris.
