Still, since the start of Kirby’s second season in Athens until now, Georgia dropped 17 teams by more than 20 points in SEC play. That’s in the SEC, not ACC; That’s by 20 or more; That’s amazingly impressive.
In that same time Alabama and Nick Saban have done only slightly better – winning 18 games by 20 points or more. The team the two programs have bullied the most? Tennessee – the Vols have not come within 20 of the Tide or Dawgs in the last seven combined games. Georgia has more 20-plus point wins over Auburn than Bama, which makes sense as the Tigers have beaten Bama twice in their last three meetings.
Back to Kirby – what Georgia has done under his watch in terms of taking care of business is stellar. Again, since 2017 the Dawgs have won 17 games by 20 points or more in SEC games. If you count backwards from 2016 you would have to go all the way back to the Blackout game against Auburn in 2007 to get to another 17 games where Georgia won by 20 or more.
In other words, it took the Dawgs 46 games to do what it took them 145 to do previously.
Florida fans, just imagine how dominant Georgia might be if Kirby could coach.
”if Kirby could coach”. BWAHAHAHAHA! FTMF.
It’s like gurkhadawg said earlier. Paying attention to detail. Kirby does that. He doesn’t rely on hope and luck as a plan. Of course a bit of good luck can go a long way.

Besides not being the universal coach (in Dawgnation he’s goooood enough), he doesn’t need to sit down during post game interviews…#FTMF

Saw a tweet after the game that said Tennessee is leaving Athens with the same number of rushing yards as Daddy Mays has fingers, minus 1.

This is what knocking the lid off a program looks likes.

It is a reflection of Kirby’s dedication to playing the best game we can play versus Richt’s satisfaction with getting a win regardless of how we got there. I honestly think it’s that’s simple.

And the BIG thing is Kirby had done this up until this year, without Monken! Think of how much, even better things will get if we can keep both OC’s on board for a few years at least!

This is the best perspective…sometimes we get too hyper focused on the minutiae of a particular game or a transfer or a recruit, but stepping back every now and then and seeing stats like this make me damn proud of our players, the coaching staff, and even the admin…it’s a great day to be a Georgia Bulldog…thank you Senator

People crack on Kirby’s “coaching”, but they love our defense. Is it easy to coach defense in this day and age? Must not be, just look around. I bet anyone in the country, most especially Saban, would like him coaching their defense. Saban, by the way, didn’t start “coaching: offense until he hired Kiffin and Sarkisian.
