“Well, we’ve got a dinged up football team at the moment.”

My Twitter feed right now is a painful thing to behold.

That’s good news on Marcus. It could have been compound fractures the way it looked. If that had been the case he may have been done forever.

Dislocations can look a lot worse than they are:

We could easily lose another game or more this season. I am usually on the disney side but it is hard to be optimistic with the amount of injuries we are sustaining and how we are struggling already.

Not sure if I ever seen a Dawg team this bad, but there was a front end load season.

The last time I remember anything close to this was one of CMR’s teams. Can’t remember the year, but I believe there were 9 or 11 starters out. Seems like he won out that year, a bunch of close, close wins.

Hopes the team doesn’t give up on him…..a true test for him & team.

2013 was pretty bad. We lost Marshall and then Murray at the end of the year. Pretty sure there were some others in there too.

How old are you? This team is a lot better than 1977, 1989, 1990, 1994, 1995, 1996, 2010, 2015, and 2016. If you are too young to have experienced UGA football before the Richt years i can understand your conclusion.

  4. good gosh almighty. The morale of this team is going to go to hell to boot. This is going to be one of those “can we just skip our bowl game” years for me again. I hope zeus and manball really love each other.

More wounded than a M.A.S.H unit. Hope UM doesn’t further decimate us. It’s a testament to the players left standing that they have not opted out.

  6. What happened to Rosemy-Jacksaint broke my heart and honestly gave me a sinking feeling about the game. I really hate it for him since it was his first TD.

As much as I wanted this season to happen, I’m now ready for it to be over. Certainly since we’re out of the SECC game. Football has injuries but this season has seemed extra bad for all of football. I have to assume much of it is related to routine being thrown off through spring to early season. Now, contrast this season’s injuries to 2017 and we get a major difference between being really good and struggling. QB limited us but trying to win the east with backups to backups hurt.

    • I think if SBIV isn’t smashed on the TD throw, UGa has a 50-50 chance of winning the game.

FWIW, inside the stadium it went from “worse than bonkers” as he dove across the goalline to deathly silence in about 30 seconds. I am a big believer in “the MO”, and we lost it there and never got it back (other than for about 5 seconds of game clock on the Pick Six, which you may recall was immediately followed by a 2-play, 75 yard TD “drive”)….

      • You may be right. Of course I was pissed because it was our QB but how does the SEC not flag that, especially after what happened the week before?

Lol @ Dean misspelling McIntosh. Qb’s may be inconsistent, but at least we can always count on some things.

    • Along the lines of missing players, just saw something on Twitter about Pickens and the transfer portal. For those of us who don’t subscribe to Rivals, what’s up with that? (I understand if no one feels he/she can share since the info is in the paid part, but thought I’d ask.)

Like the bumper sticker says, “ I feel so much better now that I have given up all hope”. Here’s hoping spring ball kicks off on time!
