A little Dabo’d do ‘ya

Shot and chaser:

The man really doesn’t GAS what people think of him.  I kinda have to respect that, in a weird way.

Was Bama / LSU canceled a few hours before it started?

I am in a fairly close group of guys who have a text thread on which we cackle like hens. One of our regulars, a highly specialized 62 year old surgeon who has basked in the glow of Clemson’s two NC’s, said FSU were “pussies” because they canceled and that FSU is “a dumpster fire.” It sounded . . . childish.
Maybe it’s me. Maybe I need to get more excited about my college football. I don’t know.

My best CU buddy is a big IPTAY type. Nice fellow except when it comes to that rotten team. He called FSU pussies also. I agreed and added that FSU has a history of dodging tough competition. That’s why they joined the ACC rather than the SEC. That was the end of the conversation. He is quite,,,
I hesitate to call him childish; but damn, Hog. If the free shoe fits…

  4. Class and Clemson have something in common. They both start with “cl.”

My football thread had a poll this week to rank the “worst” coaches in cfb. By “worst” we meant like “that guy is the worst” like George O’Leary. Active coaches though so The Skipper is ineligible.

Mullen comes out on top, followed by Dabo then Franklin. 4 & 5 varied, but we had consensus for the top three.

I admire Leach for coming here with 49 players and playing their asses off.

I don’t know why Clemson couldn’t have just pulled a guy with symptoms out of practice for the week. That way you don’t show up at a game site with a big question mark.

Dabo did the same thing with his Ostarine outbreak. Tried to flip the blame (that time to the media) and play the victim.

Which is the same thing Urban did with Zach-gate.

    Whine away, Dabo.

While Dabo may be a little on the dochee’ side, we should probably let him slide until we’ve exhausted the subject of the biggest Preparation H nozzle in college football, which is Dan the Clown Mullens. The way that silly ass conducted himself in the hoopla surrounding a late hit on Trask in the Mizzo game outweighs all other coaching circus acts in the last few years. Following that act by having (and I’ll bet congratulating) a UF player take out Georgia’s qb the very next week is even more proof that he’s a nozzle.
At this point I hate UF over TN, GT and all other’s combined. I hope Saban puts two hundred points on the shit…I mean handbags and that ‘Bama knocks Trask’s dick in the dirt every time he drops back to pass.

This guy has to go. He puts his foot in his mouth on a weekly basis.

Don’t like Dabo, but he’s 100% right to call FSU out for not wanting to play for fears of being blown out. Personally, I think Mizzou also puss’d out of the game with UGA earlier this year. Dabo also touched on something else: if one team can’t field enough players to play, whether it’s from COVID or opting out, then that should be a forfeit, not a no contest. One team was ready to play, the other could or would not. Gotta give Mike Leach mad props for playing with less than the 53 scholarship players. That was real manball.
