Now, this is how you do a kiss of death.
I guess that means Texas ain’t back quite yet.

Ehlinger asked if Herman got the most out of these players, or if coaching in general is the problem: "That’s the million dollar question everybody’s trying to figure out the last 10 years."

Yeah Ehlinger needs to answer why he took a sack to put them just out of FG range. Texas still has issues.

Frankly, that night we deserved every bit of crap that was thrown our way. I was so pissed leaving the Superdome that night after watching a Georgia team that played like they felt they deserved better.
Very different than the previous Sugar Bowl team that went to New Orleans to prove a point.

If not for Vince Young, is there a program that has done less with more money, talent, and built-in advantages in the last 50 years than the University of Texas? With their inherent in-state recruiting advantage (arguably the best high school football in the country), they should be racking up national titles faster than even Alabama.

Totally agree and want to add that most UT fans I run into ain’t interested in keeping Herman around and are pining for Brown’s return!

You just listed the biggest question for Horn fans. They have every advantage you listed plus a parade of good coaches who can’t seem to get any thing out of all those perks. Go figure!

4th and 2 on your opponent’s 20, up by 4, 8 minutes left in the game. Ya kick the damn field goal…. that decision not to kick it cost Herman the game… did it also cost him his job?

COLUMBIA, S.C. — Georgia is down to three scholarship quarterbacks. Dawgs247 has learned that redshirt freshman signal caller D’Wan Mathis is not currently with the team and barring a last-minute change of heart, he is expected to enter the NCAA’s student-athlete transfer portal. As of right now, Mathis has not put his name in the portal, which would allow him to be recruited by other NCAA football programs

I expected this to happen. Honestly, given his performance, it’s probably best for both him and UGA that they part ways.

I have no idea where he’s going to go to play QB unless he goes to a junior college where he could possibly start.
