Boy’s got potential.

Yeah, I know, small sample size and all…

Tell me, would you rather see him not at the top of that list?

I could learn to get used to sustained excellence.

Imagine if he had hit 2 or 3 of those kids running free at UF. The game may have taken on a different look, although our D was still a bit hobbled that game.

And I can think of 4 more downfield passes that were flat dropped by our receivers. Maybe more

I love his numbers right now but I really want to see what he can do against Mizzou. That game(if played) will provide some really good feedback on his ability to sustain a high % of accuracy and if our receivers continue catching. At this point I’m trying to contain my excitement but it’s hard not to get jazzed up about the present and future. How our defense performs against Mizzou will also be an indicator for next year.

You make a good point, but I’m just happy to see us completing these passes against Athens High. It’s been a while since we’ve been able (or tried) to do this.

It depends on the weather conditions in MO. If it’s cold as a witch’s you know what and snowing then it we have to be ground and pound. Our boys are not used to playing in that stuff.

Just don’t know if he can compete at this level, he’s just to small and he throws a small ball and that wind, he’s gotta throw that thing into the wind at least a mile and all that and the stadium, i just don’t know if the stadium can hold that ball the way he throws it cause when he hands off, ya know our running back is a little banged up and those lineman, gawd those lineman are like trees out there, ya just can’t see through em, ya gotta get out from behind there…i just don’t know, but i think he’ll be ready to go against vandy, who brings a real test even though they just lost their coach, it’s gonna be a different bunch this time…

  6. Mississippi State sells out to stop the run. Daniels shreds them for 400 and 4 TDs. South Carolina tries to protect the back end against the passing game, and we rip them for 330 rushing and still have an efficient passing game.

This is what we have been hoping for since Monken’s arrival. Daniels would be crazy to leave knowing that this offense is likely to be built around him in 2021.

If Daniels starts the Florida game, we win that game.

If he’s the guy who replaces Bennett, not Mathis, I put us at better than 50-50 to win that game.

If five seasons of coaching, only trying to sit on a 10 point lead for the entire fourth quarter in the national title game was a bigger mistake by Kirby.

      Still banging that drum, hey?

Just think where we would be if Kirby would just listen to you, the possibilities are endless.

Keep fighting the good fight, sooner or later….you will wear him down & he will have to listen.

      GO DAWGS!!

Right again Corch! We’d have one loss and be in the SEC east driver seat. The truth is out there! He was ready to go for the FLA game.

I’m fired up about Daniels but this stat is completely meaningless to me at this point. He’s played in 2 games against defenses ranked 89th (USCe) and 69th (MSU) in SP+ defensive efficiency. By way of comparison, Bennett faced these defenses: 50th (Ark), 9th (Bama), 32nd (UF), 38th (Auburn), 35th (UT), and 46th (UK).

Daniels will face #116 (Vandy) and #31 (Mizzou) the next 2 games.

Small sample size, but most of those aren’t slants either. Daniels takes shots down the field.

I watched an interview with Daniels yesterday. When asked what he liked about coming to the south his first word was trees. He quickly followed up with lakes, wildlife and naming outdoor things you can’t do in LA. He also explained how Kirby connected with him when he entered the portal.
Said the pitiful mustache picture was part of an annual picture day prank he has done for a few years. I wish I could find to source to share. It was short and funny to listen to a big city boy describing his new southern home. He really seems happy to be here and how things were handled leading up to his first start.
