Dabo gonna Dabo.

Every time Dabo Swinney opens his mouth, an angel pulls his hair out.

I almost wish he was at FU instead of Mullett. That way I wouldn’t have to focus on hating 2 separate entities. FThoseMFs.

Dabo is a blend of Urban Meyer and Bobby Petrino, and sometime down the road it’s all going to blow up.

That’s some high cotton there now, cause both of those douchebags are HOF material…when a microphone gets stuck in someones face and that person hasn’t a thought…usually a ton of B.S. pours out….

    • Hogbody Spradlin

Dabo doesn’t reek of anger and meanness like those two. He’s more of a bullshitting poseur.

Dabo acts like he is preaching from the moral high ground like Meyer and also is as trustworthy as Petrino.

Meyer bolted from Gainesville right when the bill came due. Will Dabo get out in time? Get your popcorn.

      • Dabo isn’t a sociopath like Meyer or Petrino. He’s more of a sanctimonious church biddy in the Phil Fulmer mode, the coaching version of a “Karen.” The motto on his family crest is probably Volo loqui vestra supervisoris.

When I was a headmaster at an Alabama private school, we had a young Alabama graduate assistant in to be a speaker at a Fellowship of Christian Athletes dinner. Young Dabo gave a moving and sincere talk that explained his Christian values and was an inspirational to the young men and women that were his audience. I don’t think he has changed enough over the years to warrant the barbs that a bunch of blog wannabee throw at him. Measure your life’s accomplishments compared to him.

James, I think you don’t understand one of the key concepts of college football. You get to hate people, teams, universities, and even whole states for no logical reason at all. Maybe their uniforms suck, they beat your team 30 years ago or you had a bad meal in a city in their state. Or you hate them just because the are GT, FU, AU, etc. Is the hate real? Probably not. Except in the case of that douchbag Auburn nose tackle to tried to kill Arron Murray. No offense but you’re looking at this with the reasoning of a little girl.

My Man! Sports hate is tribalism at its best, gurkhadawg. It’s all in good fun until some take it too seriously. My buddy Doug stroking out over Grantham and the Missouri game in ’13 is the prime example.
Saying that I’ll add that Dabo is a white trash piece of proselytizing pus who will jump two rivers the day after Sabanocchio quits, trading that cowshit college town for a chickenshit burg. If not? He’s a traitor to his alma mater and should be struck from the rolls of Bama graduates.

    So he changed his opinion.

    • TN Dawg

And even then, only kind of, since at the time of the first opinion is was assumed that the Big 10 would be playing 9 regular season games and a Conference Championship.

      How horribly inconsistent of Dabo.

      I’m breathless.

The mental contortionism required to rationalize the two clear contradictions just months apart is fascinating.

You are assuming that Dabo’s statements are based on an assumption that Dabo may or may not have even assumed himself. It’s like assumption inception.

He quite literally said he had no problem with the B1G making the playoff while playing less games in a crazy year and then ranked them out of the top 10 when his own prediction about their season came 100% true.

        • TN Dawg

Look, I understand if you are too pig-ignorant to understand context in your desire to parrot the Senator.

I know you like to get a pat on the head for being a good boy.

But the first time he answered the question was in September 16, before the season when the Big 10 had mapped a 9 game schedule with the last week being a championship week.

So the context of “less games” was the expected 9 games compared to the ACC’s planned 11.

At the end of the year when he was asked to explain, “…..Swinney said he felt any team that played fewer than nine games did not belong in the top 10.”

That’s not inconsistent with his first position.

Goddamn Clemson hasn’t played 6 games in a year since they started winning. That conference is a laughing stock, and I’m not sure its better than the PAC12 other than it has Clemson in it.
